BHOF Mission Statement
To promote Master and Local Blues Artists of The World, by providing
entertaining and informational Artist Exhibit Pages on the BHOF website
and in Blues Hall of Fame® Museums. In this manner we will promote
and preserve the history of Blues Music, .a unique American heritage
art form.
The Blues Hall of Fame® currently is planned to be built at the
Crossroads Hotel, Highway 49 & 61, Clarksdale, Mississippi
Crossroads Group CEO, Les Barber
announced that The Blues Hall of Fame® plans to partner with Crossroads
Group LLC, to bring the Blues Hall of Fame® home of the legendary
“crossroads” in Clarkesdale, Mississippi, made famous by Master
Blues Artists, Robert Johnson and Eric Clapton. The building site is located
at the crossroads of Highways 49 and 61 which, according to legend, is
exactly where Robert Johnson sold his soul to the devil in order to become
a Master Blues Artist. The Blues Hall of Fame® will be located in
the Crossroads Hotel. Les Barber, CEO
and the management of the Crossroads Group invite the participation of
all in the Crossroads Hotel and Garden project.
The Blues Hall of Fame® are on another "Mission from God"; a mission to physically build this Blues Hall of Fame ®. They are very close to constructing one in Clarksdale, Mississippi - Birthplace of the Blues, and one in Chicago, Illinois - the Capital of the Blues.
Your help is needed to obtain a grant from Pepsi for building funds. The best idea that gets the most votes, wins the grant. Marla Rivera is now on board as Blues Hall of Fame® Grant Writer and the application has been filed!
