ROXY PERRY

Born and raised in New Rochelle, New York, Roxy studied the music of classic Blues and Jazz artists who collectively influenced what has become her signature vocal style and harp playing. From her start at the Glen Island Casino in New Rochelle, to performances abroad, including the famed Montreaux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, her original compositions, powerful and expressive voice, harp playing, quick wit and performance skills have brought her to be labeled “the real deal” by Blues fans around the world. She has written and produced four highly acclaimed CDs of original music, and has shared the stage and concert bill with many noted contemporaries. Roxy can be heard on kconlineradio.com, as host of her weekly blues radio program, NEW YORK BLUESBIRD.

Recognized in the music world as the New York Blues Queen, Roxy was inducted into the Blues Hall Of Fame in October, 2009, as a Great Blues Musician from New York.
